Experiences lived

85 countries don't fit in a catalogue.

Roads, territories and encounters to start thinking about your own journey from.

Pilgrimage · Middle East

The Jerusalem Way

Jordan · Palestine · Israel

A road through desert, holy cities and borders. It isn't a route I sell with fixed dates: it's an experience to imagine questions, encounters and another way of moving forward together.

  • Jerash
  • Petra
  • Wadi Rum
  • Jerusalem
  • Bethlehem
  • Galilee

An orange sunrise over the ice plates of a northern lake
Travellers on a boat looking out over a Norwegian fjord

Nature · Northern Europe

Nature sets the pace

Norway · Finland · Iceland · Lapland

Fjords, snow, long roads and days that depend on the weather. Up north I learned that coordinating also means knowing how to wait, how to change the plan and how to stay calm without taking the excitement out of a trip.

  • Norwegian fjords
  • Lapland
  • Rovaniemi
  • Iceland

Travelling on foot

Spain · Portugal · Italy · Mexico · Japan · Ethiopia

Walking changes the scale of a journey. At walking pace there is time to talk, to look twice at the same thing, and for whatever nobody planned to show up. It is also the fastest way I know for a group to stop being a group and become something else.

  • Camino de Santiago
  • Via Francigena
  • Jerusalem Way
  • Shikoku
  • Guadalupe
  • Ethiopia

Encounters · Southern Africa

The journey happens between people

Mozambique · Eswatini

A month in Mozambique confirmed something I already suspected: what stays with you is often not the visit you planned, but the unexpected conversation, the hospitality, and the way someone lets you come close to their world.

  • Maputo
  • Pemba
  • Kruger N.P.
  • Gorongosa N.P.
  • Khanimambo Foundation
  • Eswatini
